The story
How it went.
Marijn Peters (52) from Amsterdam co-developed his Craftmanship Cabin Tender 760 with Green Marine, making sustainability a core priority from day one. The result? A 2,800 kg vessel that combines cutting-edge design with clean, quiet electric propulsion.
“The difference is clear: it’s quieter, calmer, and completely free of exhaust smells – just like anyone who switches from diesel will tell you,” says Marijn. One of the biggest benefits? “Maintenance on the motor is a thing of the past. No more regular service appointments over the years.”
The installation process was as smooth as expected. “It went exactly how you'd hope when installing an electric motor,” Marijn says with a smile.
Would he recommend it to other boat owners? “Absolutely – as long as the daily range suits your needs, I truly wish everyone could enjoy the experience of electric propulsion.”
His final message: “This isn’t the future. Electric boating is already here.”
